Minepath uses privacy-respectful analytics to understand what’s working and to improve the product. We don’t run ads, we don’t sell personal data, and we avoid collecting unnecessary information.

The data controller for personal data processed through Minepath is Awwesome Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, United Kingdom. The Minepath website and product are operated by Awwesome Ltd.

Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics (via our hosting on Vercel) to measure traffic and how the product is used at a high level—for example which paths are popular and whether key flows complete (such as subscribing to the newsletter or finishing sign up).
We aim to keep tracking minimal. We do not intentionally send email addresses or the contents of your searches/keywords to analytics.
Newsletter email
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send occasional product and keyword-related messages via Resend. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link so you can opt out in one step.
Payments and subscriptions
When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by Polar (polar.sh), our payment partner, acting as a processor on our behalf. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers. How Polar handles payment-related personal data is described in their privacy policy.
Your bank or card statement may show Polar, Minepath, a combination such as "Polar Minepath", or another short descriptor chosen by the payment provider or your card issuer—that does not change that Awwesome Ltd is the data controller for the product as described above.
Lawful basis
We process analytics data based on our legitimate interests in improving Minepath and understanding whether the product is useful.
What we collect
Depending on what you do in the product, we may collect page views (page path and basic device/browser information) and a small number of product events (e.g. “clicked find nuggets”, “newsletter subscribed”, “signup completed”, “scan requested”).
We avoid collecting sensitive or identifying content and keep event properties coarse (counts and categories rather than raw text).
Retention
We retain analytics data for a limited period, then it is deleted or aggregated.
Your choices
You can object to analytics processing at any time by contacting us at support@minepath.app. We’ll provide an opt-out and honor your request.
